Our Story
Vie13 was founded in 2011 by Gary and Theresa Ryan — two elite athletes who spent their careers chasing the highest level of performance.
Gary “Gazza” Ryan reached National Champion level in five sports, including elite cycling. A national champion and top-five speed skater in the world, he is a former world-record holder in speed skating and a former professional cyclist. He went on to direct the Australian Women’s Road Cycling team, USA Track Cycling, and both UCI Women’s Professional and U.S. domestic professional teams.
Theresa Cliff Ryan is a 29-time World Champion (54 total World's podiums), Pan American Games Champion and numerous times National Champion in speed skating, a 2x Elite National Champion, 3x World Cup medalist, and Pan American Champion in cycling. She made two Olympic long teams in cycling before a speed-skating accident at Olympic trials ended her competitive career. Theresa was a professional athlete from age 14 to 35, dominating both sports at the elite level.
Gary joined Theresa in the fight for equal pay and prize money for women in speed skating and cycling. They continue to work with athletes worldwide — through coaching, mentorship, and high-performance gear built to give competitors a real edge.
